My art shifts in style, exploring colour, light, atmosphere, and my sitter’s expression.

I was born in Edinburgh in 1970, and these days I split my time living and working in London and Oxfordshire. I studied Fine Art at the Slade School in London, where I earned my BA (Hons). My work is included in some of the UK’s national collections, from The National Portrait Gallery in London to the Scottish National Portrait Gallery in Edinburgh, as well as the UK Parliament and the Bank of England.
